1、 Preparation stage
Determining birth time: It is necessary to accurately know the year, month, day, and hour of birth, including the Gregorian calendar (solar calendar) and lunar calendar (lunar calendar) time, as well as whether it is in daylight saving time.
Determining gender: Gender also plays an important role in the Chinese astrological chart, as men and women have different ways of ranking their major events.
2、 Pai Ba Zi
Year Column
The annual column is composed of the main branches of the year of birth. There are ten heavenly stems, namely A, B, C, D, W, Ji, G, Xin, Ren, and Gui. There are twelve earthly branches, namely Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai.
Determine the heavenly stems based on the last digit of the year, for example, 0 corresponds to Geng, 1 corresponds to Xin, and so on.
The earthly branch is determined by dividing the difference between the year and a reference year (such as the year 2000) by 12 and taking the remainder.
Moon Column
The moon pillar is composed of the main branches of the birth month, not divided by the first day of each lunar month, but by the festival.
Firstly, determine the corresponding festivals for the month of birth, such as the Beginning of Spring in January and the Awakening of Insects in February.
Then determine the monthly stem based on the annual stem and holidays, which can be done by referring to the “Monthly Table Starting from the Year” or using relevant mnemonics.
Day column

Timing column
The time column is composed of the main branches of the birth time.
One hour spans two hours in the lunar calendar, and there are a total of twelve hours in a day, such as Zi hour (before 23:00 to 1am), Chou hour (before 1am to 3am), etc.

List the hidden stems of the Four Pillars Earthly Branches: that is, identify the heavenly stems hidden in each Earthly Branch.

Ranking the Universiade: The Universiade starts from the lunar pillar, with males born in the year of the yang and females born in the year of the yin arranged in order, and males born in the year of the yin and females born in the year of the yang arranged in reverse. Each major school has 10 years of management.
Check Star Sha: Use the year, month, day, and hour branches to identify the main star Sha of the life master and fill it in the corresponding position.
